Pro Wrestling group puts on good show for minor hockey
The CWF (Canadian Wrestling Federation) was in Sandy Lake on Friday night for an action packed wrestling event.
Wrestling fans of all ages were treated to four matches that kept the crowd on their feet amid cheering, booing, and laughter.
The event was a fundraiser for Sandy Lake's minor hockey teams who are traveling to Sioux Lookout this week to participate in the annual Little Bands Hockey Tournament.

Hampton and Cameron in Sandy Lake
Howard Hampton dropped off some used hockey skates at the elementary school this afternoon.
The MPP from Dryden said last year he had found some used equipment for the high school students, and this year he wanted to do something for the younger kids.
Howard was in the community for a few hours this afternoon with Tania Cameron, a provincial candidate for the NDP.
