The staff of the Early Childhood Development Services will be available at the Radio Station to assist in the process of registering babies.  Please bring in any documents you already have.  They will have application forms for birth certificates, social insurance numbers and statement of live births. 

Door prizes and refreshments will be available.

A By-Election was called to fill the position of the Airport/Big Rock seat on the Board of Education.  The following candidates were nominated for this position at a nomination meeting that was held in Sandy Lake on Wednesday, December 3, 2008.
This annual community feast marks the beginning of the Christmas holiday season in Sandy Lake.

All community members are invited to attend at the high school gymnasium.

All staff members of Sandy Lake First Nation are required to volunteer for this event.

The parade starts at the new airport and will be broadcast live on 93.5 FM.

All community programs and businesses are invited and encouraged to participate by entering a float.

The schools are closed for the afternoon for the children to enjoy.
