NAPS Board holds meeting and hockey game in Sandy Lake
The NAPS Board of Directors held a board meeting in Sandy Lake on March 3 and 4, 2010.
NAPS Chief of Police Robin Jones and board members met for regular business and also with Chief and Council during their two-day stay. Board members also visited different areas of the community including the elementary school.
Officers with NAPS flew in on Wednesday, March 3rd to play hockey against the Sandy Lake Oldtimers and Chiefs. In the first game against the Oldtimers, NAPS took control of the scoreboard beating the Oldtimers 14-7. In the second game against the Chiefs, it was the home team that dominated the game defeating the NAPS team with a final score of 10-3.
